The mother of the artist is a food technologist, and has been working in this direction all her life. Elena’s father has been in the car business for as long as the girl remembers him. The family of the artist with a high financial income and parents could afford everything for a decent education and development of their child.

When it came time to choose a school, the parents knew for sure that the child should be sent to an art and aesthetic gymnasium in order to develop the girl’s first hobbies. At the age of 10, she took second place in an exhibition of paintings and was ignited by the desire to achieve heights in this direction.

In high school, Elena began to study English professionally, attended tutors and went to language camps abroad in order to fully master English. At the end of school, the artist was fluent in a foreign language and easily traveled around the countries with her parents.

When it came time to choose a university for further education, Elena Likhach did not see a worthy place in Kaliningrad and her parents advised her to go to Moscow and get a quality education. In 2006, the artist entered the Russian State University. Kosygin with a degree in Art History and Design History. During the 4th year of the university, she found her mentor, from whom she continued to study artistic skills, took part in exhibitions with her works and won prizes already in Moscow.

Parents were happy that the girl was able to realize her talent and continued to do what she loved even without the help of her parents. Although her parents helped young Elena financially, they always noted her strength of character and said that she could achieve everything herself skoch Likhach

During her studies at the university and after graduation, Elena Alexandrovna tried various techniques of art, took part in conferences and trainings in modern techniques. In 2017, the artist launched her own duct tape painting project called «Skoch Skill». The usual packing tape, molar tape, electrical tape were used, from which realistic pictures were obtained.

Initially, Elena tried to work on glass in order to get used to the shades of adhesive tape and its layering, after she began to create paintings on any material.

As the artist herself says: “You don’t need talent here, you need perseverance and constant work, then everything will work out.” This project brought the girl great popularity and income skoch Likhach

After the launch of her project and popularity, she took up teaching the relaxing art of Tape art in individual lessons. At the initial stages, the adhesive tape forgives the mistakes of its beginners, since it can simply be re-glued in the right direction.

Sticky Art is not the last project of Elena Likhach, this year she plans to introduce the audience to a global project, about which little is known yet.
